One year group
Use LESSO across selected planning for a year group or phase.
SCHOOL PILOT PROGRAM
We're inviting a small number of UK schools to use LESSO free for six weeks. Not for a one-off AI experiment. For your real weekly workload and the curriculum and resources you already use.

AI, on your school's terms
LESSO is a new type of AI platform for primary and secondary schools. It gives teachers school-approved planning support, configured around your curriculum and standards, with the governance and oversight leaders need.
A practical, school-controlled way to introduce AI across your teaching teams, with teachers reviewing what it prepares.
Schedule lessons in advance and receive draft plans, slides and resources to review before teaching.
Your school sets curriculum frameworks, school branding, templates and teacher preferences so materials follow an agreed structure.
Offer an alternative to unmanaged accounts on consumer AI tools, with agreed data and review controls.
The planning structure may be especially useful for ECTs, non-specialists, supply teachers and those moving between year groups.
With LESSO, you remain in charge.
School context changes the starting point. Teachers can work from an agreed foundation rather than starting from scratch for each lesson.
Other AI tools like ChatGPT, Copilot and Claude start from a blank page every time. They know nothing about your school, and forget everything the moment you close the tab. LESSO is built the other way round.
Your curriculum, schemes of work, knowledge organisers, teaching materials, and calendars sit inside LESSO. Every approval, edit, and preference you make is carried forward.

You open LESSO on a Wednesday afternoon and drop in a knowledge organiser for the next unit - eight lessons across three weeks.
LESSO proposes a lesson sequence. You review it, change the order of two lessons, and approve the plan. Then you close your laptop and go home.
Overnight, LESSO prepares the whole unit.
Not one lesson. Every lesson. Slides, activities, resources, differentiation, assessment support, in parallel. In the morning, you walk into an eight-lesson unit ready to teach.
And because LESSO works with your school context, you don't have to explain everything again every time you use it.
This is what an AI co-teacher actually looks like in practice.
The pilot will help your school understand whether LESSO can reduce the time teaching staff spend preparing lessons while maintaining the quality, consistency, and professional oversight your school expects.
Before the pilot starts, we'll agree on a manageable area to test. That could be:
Use LESSO across selected planning for a year group or phase.
Test it across a sequence of history, science, English, or other curriculum units.
Give a small teaching team the chance to use LESSO in their normal planning.
We're not starting with the assumption that LESSO works brilliantly for every teacher. That's what the pilot is for. Together, we can look at questions such as:
We set LESSO up around your school, give participating staff their own LESSO accounts, and show them how to use it (for free) either in person or by Teams/Zoom.
A short conversation about what's working, what isn't, and where people are getting stuck.
We review what happened and what your teachers thought. LESSO handles the pilot administration and usage information around that.
We also want to provide ongoing support by phone, email, and Whatsapp throughout if you need us.

You decide.
There is no automatic renewal and no obligation to buy LESSO.
Foundation Cohort schools that choose to continue can currently access LESSO for a further 12 months from £1,999 p/a per school.
The standard annual school price outside the Foundation Cohort is currently from £4,999 p/a per school.

We'd particularly like to hear from school staff who are curious about what AI could do in real teaching practice and have enough internal support to explore it properly.

We're looking for schools that can provide:
We want to know what genuinely works and what doesn't.
LESSO is built around UK data sovereignty
The providers behind that infrastructure
UK cloud infrastructure provider
Civo's provider-level ISO 27001 certificationUK AI service provider
relaxAI's G-Cloud supplier statusThese certifications and procurement statuses belong to the named providers. They are not certifications held by LESSO.
The intelligence LESSO builds up about your curriculum, your materials, your teachers' preferences belongs to your school.
School and personal data is stored and processed only on UK infrastructure, giving schools greater control and clearer visibility over where their data sits and how it is handled.
For school leaders, DPOs, and IT teams it reduces uncertainty around adopting AI, supports stronger data governance, and helps schools demonstrate that sensitive information is being managed within a controlled UK environment. LESSO also commits not to use prompts, conversations, or generated content to train AI models.
LESSO makes the product and no-training commitment. Our infrastructure partners provide the underlying hosting and service assurance.
A demo can show you what LESSO is capable of. But six weeks of using LESSO can tell you whether staff actually use it, whether the resources are good enough, whether it fits your curriculum and whether it makes planning easier.
That is what the Foundation Cohort is designed to find out.
